We respect your privacy therefore we will not sell, share, or rent this information to any outside parties. Banana Hobby is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We collect information from our users to process orders and to enhance your overall shopping experience. Information collected includes name, shipping address, billing address, telephone number, e-mail address, and payment information such as credit cards. All information is confidential and is kept secured.

All online transactions with Banana Hobby are handled with the strongest and the most secure industrial SSL encryption. When you enter your credit card number into the order form, it is transmitted in an encrypted (scrambled) form and then it is decrypted when it gets to us. When you place orders or access your account information, we offer the use of our secure servers with the highest level of security. The secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us.

Banana Hobby may make updates to the Privacy Statement anytime in the future. Any changes will be posted here to keep you informed and updated.

WARRANTY AND DISCLAIMER

All Banana Hobby products are sold under this warranty and disclaimer.

RADIO CONTROLLED AIRPLANES, HELICOPTERS AND ALL PRODUCTS RELATED TO THEM SHOULD BE HANDLED WITH GREAT CARE.

The user is required to read all instruction manuals and follow the manufacturer’s guidelines and perform a pre-flight check for all helicopters and airplanes before flying. By using these products, you agree that Banana Hobby will not be held responsible for injury, crash or damage, loss of kits or accessories, or parts and materials that occurs during the use of any radio-controlled model. Great care and caution must be taken when using any RC products. If you have any questions or doubts on the operation of your item, please contact Banana Hobby for help before attempting to operate.

All products ordered from Banana Hobby come with a 30-Day Warranty unless otherwise stated. Your warranty begins the moment you receive your package. If an item breaks or malfunctions under normal use, you may submit a request for an RMA number within 30 days of receipt. Once the RMA number has been issued, you will have 15 days to take the item to a post office, UPS store, or FedEx Store to have it mailed out or your RMA code will expire in our systems. Please note that for ALL returns of any kind, the customer is responsible for the shipping costs and Banana Hobby will not be able to reimburse any cost associated with the return of the item.

The 30-Day Warranty is null and void if the item has been altered or abused (i.e. mishandling the product, modifying or removing parts, dropping or subjecting it to any sort of impact, and/or disassembling the item). Unless instructed to do so specifically by a Banana Hobby representative, do not do any of the mentioned actions to your item.

Any damage sustained during use is not covered under the Banana Hobby 30-Day Warranty unless damage can be proven to be due to manufacturer’s error. By using these products, you agree that Banana Hobby WILL NOT be held responsible for any injuries or damages due to the user’s negligence and/or lack of knowledge of the product. The user shall determine the suitability of the product for his/her intended use and shall assume all risk and liability in connection therewith. This pertains and applies to all items sold by Banana Hobby.

Banana Hobby will make every effort possible to understand that each case is unique and will try to assist you in the best way possible. Please understand that this is a hobby and that you may at times be required to do some modifications that may include but is not limited to cutting, gluing, soldering, or other types of adjustments to your item before it can be operated.

RETURNS

Please make the subject in the email as follows: Order number, request for RMA (ex: Order #####, Request for RMA).

Request(s) for returns or exchanges and reports of missing or damaged part(s) MUST be received within 7 Days from the day of receipt of merchandise(s). If your request is reported after 7 Business Days, Banana Hobby reserves the right exercise its discretion in regards to your request(s).

Items wishing to be returned must be in new condition with all manuals, accessories and all other items in its original packaging and fully intact. A return of any kind will not be granted once the item has been assembled or modified in any way. All returning merchandise must be received and inspected by our certified technicians before we will be able to process and/or ship out any replacements or process refunds if such is warranted.

BananaHobby can not be held responsible for any lost shipment of returned merchandise during the shipping process. The customer will be responsible for the return shipping cost to send the return merchandises back to our offices. For returned merchandise that is found to be genuinely defective (manufacturers defect), we will ship out replacement(s) and/or part(s) free of charge and waive any additional shipping and handling fees for the replacement(s). Returns /Exchanges /Refunds will not be allowed or granted if the item has been used, flown, or otherwise operated. BananaHobby would like all customers to understand that RC helicopters and airplanes can crash if a mistake was made or if you do not have the proper training on how to fly/operate these products. Any kind of crash or hard landing may cause damage(s) to the helicopter or plane. Banana Hobby WILL NOT be held responsible for the difficulty level of a product exceeding the operating skill level and/or competence of the pilot or the weather conditions you have chosen to fly in.

If you believe there is a defect with the merchandise, or with any parts used in it, BananaHobby would require for you to send in the item for inspection if possible to be tested by our technicians to determine if the issue is in fact due to a defect with the merchandise and if so a proper RMA will be issued for the item. Please note that BananaHobby will not be able to reimburse any cost associated with the return of the item.

BananaHobby reserves the right to return merchandise back to the customer and/or refuse returns and deny refund(s) or replacement(s) if in the opinion of our certified technicians that the returned item is deemed used, crashed, abused, mishandled, or modified in any way or has been damaged by dust, dirt, water, sand or other contaminants. We also reserve the right to refuse any box that is delivered to us that does not have a valid BananaHobby issued RMA number written clearly on the outside shipping box. NO EXCEPTIONS. To obtain an RMA number, please contact us on our support form or call us at 626-373-2288. Finally, customers must agree to the following terms and conditions, upon shipping merchandise back to us:

1. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer and Banana Hobby will not be able to reimburse any cost associated with the return of the item.
2. We recommend that you use a tracking number so that you may keep it for reference.
3. We are not responsible for any lost packages.
4. We do not reimburse return shipping costs or refund shipping costs.
5. The merchandise must be in a brand new and unused condition and in its original packaging if returning for full refund of item.
6. The customer must fill out a return authorization form that we will send to you via email, and this form MUST be included inside the returning package.
7. Item(s) shipped to us must be well packed and padded in a strong box to prevent internal damages. If your package arrives to us damaged, we will compare it with the digital photos that you have submitted for the RMA for reference and we may not be able to process your return or issue a refund or replacement due to the damage.
8. Returned items could require up to 15 business days to process. This process starts the business day after the day we receive the package. We ask that you please be patient with us during this processing time and our returns department will contact you once they have finished processing your returned item(s).

The terms and conditions listed above in the Warranty and Disclaimer as well as the Returns section will be applied to all sales made from BananaHobby via email, telephone, fax, or post. We urge our customers to read all of the terms and conditions before placing their order with Banana Hobby. If for any reason you do not agree with any of our terms, please do not place your order. BananaHobby would also like to notify all customers that BananaHobby reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order at their sole discretion.

Items that are returned in conditions not as described as when first contacting BananaHobby before returning the item will be subject to a 25% restocking fee. If you wish to cancel your order but your package has already been shipped and that you have refused the package, it will also be subject to a 25% restocking fee if you have not contacted us until after the package was shipped.

MISSING OR WRONG ITEM RECEIVED

If there are items or parts missing from your order or an item or part is incorrect, please contact the Customer Service Department immediately on our support form upon receiving the order, or speak to a representative directly on our phone systems by calling in at (626) 373-2288. You can also sign onto our live chat systems to chat with a live representative online.

Please make the subject in the email as follows: Order number, request for RMA (ex: Order #####, Request for RMA).

Note: Customers must inform Banana Hobby of any order discrepancy (missing/incorrect items or missing/incorrect parts) within 7 days from receipt of the package so that we may investigate and resolve the situation accordingly. If your request is reported after 7 Business Days, Banana Hobby reserves the right exercise its discretion in regards to your request.

By Money Order:

Please follow these instructions on how to place an order using this method.

1. Add the items you wish to purchase into your shopping cart by clicking "Add to Cart".

2. Enter your shipping information into the shipping calculator on the bottom of your shopping cart page.

3. Select a shipping method. For all US orders, select a UPS option. For international orders to Canada, select USPS Ground to Canada or International Air with Insurance. All other countries select USPS International Air with Insurance.

4. Click "Apply" to find the total price of the item(s) and shipping. The price will be shown in US Dollars.

5. Print out the page that shows the total price and the items you wish to buy.

6. Include your money order in the envelope and write down your full name, full shipping address, telephone number, and email address.

CHANGE OR CANCEL ORDER

You may cancel your order only if it has not been processed for packaging and shipping. Once your order has been packed and shipped, we cannot cancel your order or make any changes or additions to the order. If you would like to modify your order, we will need to cancel your current order so that you may replace it with a new one. To do so, you must contact us immediately after placing your order and before we begin processing your order. Once we begin processing your order, we will not be able to make any changes or additions. Orders will be processed on the business day after you have placed your order and may take 1-3 business days for orders shipping within the domestic United Sates and 3-5 business days for all international orders.

BACKORDERS AND PREORDERS

BananaHobby will never purposely charge a customer for an item that we do not physically have in stock at the time of purchase. However, please note that with a pre-order, your credit card will be charged at the time you place your order. Otherwise, your credit card will be charged only when your order is processed. In some cases, we will process your order and authorize your credit card up to 10 days before the arrival of the product. This allows us to get the product to you faster.

VERY IMPORTANT PLEASE READ:

When you place your order, an automatic "AUTHORIZATION" is placed on your credit card. What that means is once you place your order, we check to make sure you have the funds available on your card. The authorization is not the actual charge on your card. It will even show up on your statement as “Authorization from Banana Hobby". Please note that once we are ready to send your order out, we will THEN capture the funds from your card, and you will see a second entry on your statement showing the actual transaction and the funds being taken out of your account. You have not been charged twice.

Orders containing combinations of pre-order items and in stock merchandise will be broken into separate orders. Each of the separate orders will ship as soon as the merchandise becomes available. Shipping charges will apply to each of the orders independently.

From time to time, BananaHobby.com will offer special promotional items with preorder/backorder. Due to limited availability, these promotions can only be offered while supplies last.

Refund on canceled order:

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us immediately. If you have been charged already, please note that it can take anywhere from 3-5 business days for your Issuing Bank to post the refund back onto the credit card you purchased with. If you have not been charged but would like to cancel your order, please note that the authorization that we have placed on your card will drop off within 1-3 business days.

SHIPPING

Shipping Times

All items are shipped from our facilities once order processing and order packaging is completed. The times listed below estimate the expected number of business days it will take for in-stock merchandise to be shipped from our facilities and delivered to you. ("Business days" means Monday-Friday, excluding weekends and holidays.) In some cases, merchandise may actually ship earlier than expected. When you choose an expedited delivery method, we'll prioritize the processing of your order in our warehouse in order to meet the stated delivery time. It is the sole responsibility of the shipping carrier once the package has been transferred from BananaHobby to UPS or United States Postal Service. Please note BananaHobby has no control over the parcel once it leaves our warehouse, and cannot be held responsible for shipping damage and/or lost packages once they leave our facilities. However we would still like to assist you if you encounter these issues. If an item arrives damaged, or if it was lost by the shipping carrier, please contact BananaHobby so that we may contact the shipping carrier on your behalf.

Please note: Orders being shipped to Hawaii, Alaska, APO addresses, and US Territories will be shipped via USPS only and unfortunately, cannot be expedited. Please understand that delivery times are not guaranteed and may change depending on conditions beyond our control such as weather.

*Unfortunately BananaHobby cannot estimate transit times for the shipping carriers, your tracking number for your orderÕs shipment should show estimated delivery times as provided by the shipping carrier themselves which is subject to changes and updates from these carriers.

Please note: Orders are usually not processed same day, but within 24 hours (provided that the following day is a business day and not weekend or a holiday). Therefore even if your order with expedited shipping method is placed before 2pm PST, it may not be processed in time for ship out that same day. If an order was placed on Friday, depending on the time the order was placed, it may not be processed until business resumes the following Monday. To avoid any delays, please plan ahead and place your order accordingly.

TRACKING NUMBER

With the shipping method that you have selected for shipping your order, an email of the UPS and USPS tracking numbers and delivery address information will be sent to you the evening after your package ships provided that the email address submitted with your order is accurate.

VERY IMPORTANT PLEASE READ:

To ensure that the tracking information is accurate, we urge our customers to copy the tracking information they have received via email and paste it into the carrier’s website. The tracking information that is provided within the email is only an ESTIMATED DELIVERY DATE. UPS and USPS provide this ESTIMATED DELIVERY DATE to try and help the customer determine an approximate delivery date to receive the package. Selecting the tracking link through your order page will not be accurate; use the official carrier’s website and paste the tracking number there.

SHIPPING TO A THIRD-PARTY ADDRESS

If the alternate shipping address is on file with the bank that issued the credit card then order processing will not be delayed. Please have the alternate shipping address on file in the notes or memo section of your credit card account. If the alternate shipping address is not on file with the bank that issued the credit card, order processing may be delayed due to additional verification to make sure that the credit card account is not lost or stolen. We take this measure to protect our customers and ourselves from fraud.

If Banana Hobby finds that your card lacks authenticity or if there are some discrepancies that disrupt our systems from processing your order, BananaHobby reserves the right to verify orders through a variety of means which may include but is not limited to phone verification, requests for copies of front and back of Credit Card used and copy of Driver’s License or ID Card. The Identification Card must match the Credit Card holder’s information.

BananaHobby reserves the right to cancel your order and void the credit of the corresponding credit card charge if we are not satisfied with the authenticity of the order information. How much does it cost to ship to my country?

To calculate the cost of shipping, please follow the instructions below.

2.       Scroll down to the bottom of your Shopping Cart page to see the Shipping Calculator.

3.       Enter your shipping information and select your preferred method of shipping.
For shipping to Canada, we use USPS Ground to Canada or USPS International Air with Insurance. For shipping to all other countries, use only USPS International Air with Insurance.

4.       Finally, click "Apply" to calculate the total cost of shipping for the item(s) in your shopping cart to the specified shipping address via the selected shipping method. The total price will appear in USD $.

Your packages may be subject to the customs fees and import duties of the country to which you have your order shipped. These charges are always the recipient's responsibility. For more information, please contact your country’s customs.

Please understand that there is always a risk of damage to your package on its long journey across countries. If shipping to Canada using USPS Ground to Canada, you will not be ensured of any insurance of lost packages or damages to your item(s).  If you have selected USPS International Air with Insurance and that there were significant damages that are visible to the outside of your package, you must not accept the package and you will need to refuse the package. USPS and Banana Hobby are not responsible for damaged items if the customer accepts the package and reports it after. Please refuse the package the moment that the carrier delivers it to you or in person at the post office if you see any significant damages to the package and notify Banana Hobby immediately.
