The F4U Corsair is a carrier capable fighter jet that saw service in World War II and the Korean War. The Corsair served in some air forces until the 1960's. It was one of the longest production run of any piston-engined fighter for the United States. There was an 11:1 kill ratio for every F4U shot down.
