Overview
Following the great success and feedback from our large FC1, we have continued our collaboration with Ralph & Enrico from Elster Jet to produce a smaller, more everyday and easy to transport version, sized around the most popular turbines and without compromising on performance.
Features
German design, by Ralph and Enrico from Elster Jet
Extremely lightweight full composite construction especially designed for outstanding 3D performance
Painted outside the mold so no seam lines
Ultra strong and light weight landing gear mounts, with factory installed blind nuts so mounting is just plug and play
Specially designed easy access to turbine for speedy installation
Field setup can be done in seconds, thanks to the quick releases on the wings without the need for any tools, and the single elevator bolt accessed from the side
Removable wing and elevator for easy transport
Please note that the FC1 is designed specifically for aerobatics and 3D vectored flight, with light weight being key. It is not designed to be used as a full power, high speed race plane.

Build Info
CONTROL THROWS:
- Flap: Maximum available
- Aileron: 14mm up / 14mm down (measured at the wing tip)
- Rudder: 43mm left / 43mm right
- Elevator: 38mm up / 38mm down (measured from the tip at trailing edge of the elevator)
*Please note that the correct “center” position for the elevator is not when it is level!
CENTER OF GRAVITY:
- 25cm back from the leading edge of the wing at the fuselage
- Measured with empty main tank, full UAT, landing gear down
VECTOR AND GYRO:
Elster Jet recommend the use of the gyro systems by Powerbox-Systems. These offer two banks, each with individually programmable settings.
FUNCTION | NORMAL FLYING | 3D FLYING |
Aileron | Normal Gain 20% | Normal Gain 40% |
Elevator | Normal Gain 15% | Normal Gain 45% |
Vector Elevator | Off | Normal Gain 90% |
Vector Rudder | Off | Normal Gain 90% |
*These gains are approximate and WILL vary in your model, depending on your chosen servo’s speed, length of servo arm and other factors.
