This is an ARF RC Helicopter Kit Only (90% Assembled). The Black Hawk 500 EP/GP Pro HP-06EPM is a step up from the common Micro Electric Helicopter. Being physically larger, it handles more consistently and is more stable in conditions that would normally ground a micro. Despite its slight increase in size, the equipment requirements of the Black Hawk 500 EP Pro Helicopter are still very comparable with the micros. Unlike other 500 pl (Eolo, Logo, Quick, etc) electric helicopters which retail at premium pricing, the Black Hawk 500 Pro will work running the same servos, gyros, receiver, speed controller and batteries (2100mah 11.1 or 14.8) as the micros. This gives it the edge in both affordability and performance. And for the pilot trying to push the limits, running the Blackhawk on 4-cell LiPo will deliver extreme 3D capable performance.
The option to install a gas engine into the chassis gives the er even more fun and flexibility. It makes for an excellent stepping stone to go from electric to gas powered helis. The er will be able to fly the Blackhawk as a learning platform for engine tuning before proceeding onto a larger gas powered helicopter. The change over from electrics to gas powered is also very affordable as the er can continue to utilise ALL of the spare parts for the heli. The BlackHawk is excellent value for money.
